Who We Are

Hello! I'm Annelise (Lissie), and I created this blog with my friend Mark. It's intended to be a sort of digital garden, a place where we can plant the seeds of our ideas and musings throughout our time in university, to keep us writing, reading, and philosophizing. We came up with the idea for a blog in junior year of high school and finally got it started two years later. There's not a lot of rhyme or reason to what we post here, but it includes essays, reviews, and creative works that we want to share. We're not posting them because we think they're perfect, but because we'll assume that if you're reading this blog, you're one of our friends, and we love our friends. We're avid fans of all things literature, film, pop culture, and politics--you name it, we've thought about it, and these are the fruits. (Get it? Because pears?)
